Pollen Floral Works
Knotty Stitches
After many years in the customer service industry Jana, with the help of her husband Jeff, opened The Knotty Hooker, a small yarn store in downtown Castle Rock, WA. The store specialized in high-quality yarns and notions for the knitting and crocheting crowd.
After two successful years the opportunity to purchase The Quilt Nest, a business that had been established for 12 years, presented itself. Jana and Jeff decided it was the right fit. Combining the two stores has expanded her customer base and given her new friends, as well as the opportunity to learn new forms of fiber arts. Two years after combining the 2 stores Jana expanded the business model by adding a long-arm machine and began quilting for her customers.
After the Covid Pandemic hit, Jana thought it was the perfect time to change the name of the store from The Quilt Nest & Yarn Boutique to Knotty Stitches. She always missed having Knotty in her store name.
More changes and expansions are on the horizon. Jana is looking forward to continuing to find new ways to serve her customers and the community with more space, diverse products, and fabulous creativity!
