CHERISE HURLEY

I was born in Olympia and raised in Rochester by my mom and grandpa. Eventually, I made my way down to Castle Rock when I met my husband. We have settled down in Winlock with our son.

The insurance industry is ever-evolving. No policy or client is the same, but we are here to help in any way we can! Honestly, the relationships that we can develop with our clients are what excites me most about this job. I watch Peggy and Cyndi talk daily with clients and see how their relationship is more than just business-related. It really touches my heart to see the office care so much about the community and be so involved with clients. It’s rather refreshing, and I can’t wait to get to know our clients better.

I’m always talking about my son – my entire life centers around him! I enjoy taking him on coffee dates and shopping…he enjoys our Target trips. My life revolves around my son, husband, and coffee. My guilty pleasures in life are coffee and music. There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t have at least one cup of coffee. I’m a firm believer that music heals the soul.

When I’m not working, I love to spend time with my husband and our son. Some of the best times we have are when go hunting together. Seeing my son’s face light up when we see an Elk or Deer, just makes my heart smile. We’ve got a little hunter on our hands. My family is the most important thing in my life.

An awareness I care deeply about is cancer because it has been very present on my mother’s side of the family, particularly breast cancer. So, the Susan G. Komen for the Cure is near and dear to my heart. My husband and I also like to “adopt” a child or two off the Angel Tree by the Salvation Army every year – every child deserves a present on Christmas.
